Moon Days

When we practice Ashtanga Yoga over a longer period of time, we can better align ourselves with the natural cycles. Observing the moon days is one way to recognize and honor the rhythms of nature, allowing us to live in greater harmony with it.

In the world of Ashtanga Yoga, there are two important moon days: New Moon and Full Moon. These two days offer a time for rest and self-reflection.

On moon days, practitioners are encouraged to take a break from their regular practice.
